Associated Supermarkets of Bed-Stuy

"Completely Disgusted I came in today and gave a man (the manager) 1 full bag i already had filled with peppers and coconut water that i got from a previous store and came with my own cart. For both , he gave me 2 square cardboards with numbers . After I finish shopping I couldnt find one of the cardboard he gave me an I explained to him that he had another bag that was mines , I told him what it had in the bag as well , he immediately told me no that the cart was all I gave him repeatedly . I told him to check his cameras and I waited for someone to do so . I patiently waited an they talked back & forth in Spanish an told me the surveillance didn’t show anything, mind you the manager never went anywhere he walked away an walked back an I was watching him the whole time . They lied and said they watched it . I winded up having to go to a different vegetable stand and buying what I originally had in my bag before coming to this market .I been coming here for a few years and I never had a problem like todays (NEVER GO FOR MEATS , THEY ALWAYS HAVE EXPIRED DISCOLORED FOUL SMELLING GREEN OR DARK PURPLED MEAT AND THEY ALWAYS HAVE EXPIRED LABLES, THE ONLY MEAT I TOUCH IN THERE IS THE SHADEY BROOKS GROUND TURKEY ). I am over the situation but I am disgusted , I have no words for the manager. I learned today to never let anyone in the supermarket watch my things ever again , Lesson Learned ."

"Prices are high, and lable prices in aisles are not accurate . They make ppl paying with government assistance pay for bags, which is illegal!! They do not follow wic guidelines. I have witnessed questionable employee behavior."

"They are very friendly people working here. However, the store needs updating and a cleaning. Also a fresh coat of paint would be nice. The store smells like blood and raw spoiled meat."

"Great variety of fresh produce at really good prices. Staff is friendly and helpful. The refrigerator is nicely stocked with a variety of beers and coolers. They also offer hot dogs and sausages you rarely find in the neighborhood like knockwurst franks in natural casing Bratwurst to name a few. The meat is fresh and moderately priced. Not bad at all for a mid sized local supermarket!"

"I was very impressed! The place was clean and had a huge selection of items! I feel like if you needed a new transmission you could probably find a rebuilt one here for a decent price, just like a good bodega, they carry everything lol. Side note: Now I know where to go for pesticide lol."
