"Scenic park on Black Creek - adjoining county golf course - good fishing I'm told."
"It's a nice place to have an event. The only problem I had was that the stove didn't work properly. The right side burner was not working. I feel they can update that lodge by putting in a full kitchen. There is no sink or microwave. There are bathrooms separate from the building but right behind the lodge. They do supply nice size round tables and square tables. There are plenty of chairs also. Overall the whole place needs to be remodeled but it's still functional as of now."
"Rented both the East and West Lodge for a baby shower perfect location for 100 people! However there is no running water in either side of the lodge you have to use a water spicket outside so just be prepared if you need to do any cooking or cleaning up! Also remember it's a carry in carry out park so carrying out garbage for 100 people was incredibly inconvenient, however we got it done. It was a baby shower so all vehicles were filled with gifts so we had to stuff garbage into all the cars. Very very very nice venue."

"The park has just enough and not to much. I love a quiet walk here. And the small boat launch on Black Creek gives great access for an afternoon paddle."
