"On June 10, 2023 around 11:40 am, this woman, Donna W harassed my sister and I to no end because my mom’s card wasn’t working because of their company’s mishap. So instead of asking us, she assumed we didn’t pay our membership and said my mom isn’t there so we’re not allowed to use it but my sister and I are authorized cardholders of the card. She was super disrespectful and rude, I feel like she was bullying us and being racist too. She cancelled my transaction when I was about to start scanning my items at self checkout because I called her out for being rude and disrespectful when she said I was rude and disrespectful first. And instead of the manager, Clairabell (big bleached blonde Hispanic woman) to come over to help us, she sided with this rude worker and removed our cart of things we took 40 mins before work to collect before purchasing and refused to let us buy our items. Then threatened us saying the police were on their way. These two workers should not be working here and representing BJ’s. I asked them for their names because they hid their name tag, and when I asked other employees, they refused to give their names as well."

"Has been a good store prefer it over Deer Park. Only issue I have been having lately is the At&t guys are relentless, I have AT&T but they don't let up. I go with my toddlers by myself sometimes real quick to pickup a few things. Last time I went there I told the guy I already I had At&t and he literally started running after me and i had to repeat myself again and he backed off. Today same thing happend again I had to yell at him to backoff and leave me alone."

"Went to customer service because my card was expired. I share the card with my mom as a household member. Apparently my mom updated the card only for herself. When I went to customer service. She told me that I am no longer on the plan. I told her that I would call my mom to see what happened, and then she proceeded to ask me if I got into a fight with my mom and that maybe she didn't want me on the card. I was so appalled that I left. Disgusting. I will be opening an account with costco. I will no longer be using bjs"

"After seeing some less than stellar reviews here, I being a very frequent shopper at the Commack location feel compelled to leave a very honest and very positive review! Right off the bat, parking is easy with large spots and ample availability. The shopping carts are clean and are in perfect condition, and the store itself is clean, and well organized. As far as the staff, I have had countless positive experiences, starting with Grace at the deli counter, she's a sweetheart! All the customers love her, she's a real people person while being fast and efficient. The manager of the tire department, absolute aces! After getting a great deal on a set of tires, with super fast installation, he is helping me resolve a tire sensor issue that is beyond their responsibility, again just nice quality people! The store manager works his but off! I constantly see him out on the floor, on top of his employees, not only giving them clear direction, but he's quick to lend them a hand. Definitely a do as I do type leader that keeps everything running smoothly, while treating his staff with kindness & respect. The Commack location doesn't offer the widest selection of products (compared to other nearby BJ's) and they don't currently have gasoline, but it is still my absolute favorite Big Box store (Sorry Costco). p.s. my wife love shopping there too (but that's my problem...)"

"Where do you find these people?? Lady at self checkout was giving everyone a hard time. I had to wait 5 mins for her to come and scan my ID… she then thoroughly made sure that I had scanned everything in my cart and even questioned it… I had four items. Teach these people how to treat your customers with respect and how to properly do their job."
