"When our 3 mo old went to the ER with respiratory issues we thought was pneumonia, we never imagined that within 24hrs of our arrival, she would be diagnosed with neuroblastoma and on chemotherapy as a radical but necessary emergency treatment to shrink her tumor. Because Dr Fish is an expert on these types on Childhood cancers, he reviewed images sent to him, while he happened to be in Philly giving a lecture on Neuroblastomas, and noting that the fast growing cancer had left our daughter with just a couple millimeters left of breathing space in a squeeze too low to intubate and large enough to push her heart below her rib cage, he started treating her remotely and rushed back to meet with us in person. He is empathetic, competent and confident. Everything you would want from an oncologist if your own child needed one."
"My daughter is a survivorship patient of Dr. Fish, whom she also regularly saw as part of her 3-yr. treatment at Cohen's Children's Medical Center beginning in 2010. We have always found Dr. fish to be competent, caring and he has a great bedside manner that put my extremely introverted child at ease, which I am appreciative for. It is my opinion that Dr. Fish truly cares about every one of his patients and he is a great fit for pediatrics and a super oncologist to boot. We have seen him in the survivorship clinic once a year since "closing the cancer chapter" of her book....and he always takes the time to meet with her and does a thorough exam and intake at each visit."
