"Dr. Crooks doesn't seem to look at patient's charts and results correctly. He wanted me to see four of my doctors to get answers for him on when he can start my surgery. This just weeks after I had had a stroke and was house bound. When I made it in to see him he said it was good news there would be no chemo. What he failed to realize is the pathology report was not done testing for all three receptors. Imagine my surprise when I talked with my medical oncologist only to find out I will need chemo for 12 weeks and targeted therapy every three weeks for a year. Absolutely incompetent doctor who has been practice jumping for years! Best to go anywhere else but here, another outpost for Roswell, who missed this cancer to begin with!"

"I met with Katie the Nurse Practitioner for the first time. She was very nice and answered all my questions thoroughly and I didn't feel rushed. All the staff from front desk, medical assistant, to check out went out of their way to make me feel welcome. I was a patient of Dr. Bauer and Andrea for many years and feel very confident with the new staff!"

"I had my consult with Dr. Hughes. I absolutely loved her. She really took the time to listen to me without being rushed and answered all my questions to my satisfaction. It was like talking to a friend who happens to be your doctor. I felt so comfortable and "heard." I am so glad I switched my care. The office is very nice and the staff was awesome as well."

"On April 2nd I received the scariest news ever - irregular mammogram, something that did not belong found in my right breast. The mammogram facility scheduled a surgery consult for me for July!! Totally not acceptable!! I was blessed to be referred to Breast Care of WNY and Dr. Hughes by one of my best friends. I was able to see her on April 11th and surgery was scheduled for May 11th (it would have been sooner but I had a business trip I could not reschedule). She was compassionate, provided a complete exam and gave me total understanding of the surgical procedure I needed to have done. The day of surgery, again, she was compassionate, thorough and answered all of my questions. After surgery was over she again was absolutely meticulous about my post-op care and what to expect while healing. On May 17th at my surgery follow-up appointment she gave me the best news ever - NO CANCER! We set a plan for follow-up visits moving forward and again, she answered all my questions about if I would have a reoccurrence of this invader and what our plan would be to attack if more returned. While I count myself lucky I did not have cancer, I was prepared for the worst and felt completely comfortable with my Dr. Hughes at my side if the fight needed to be fought. 44 days of fear and Dr. Hughes made the process so much less scary. She and her entire staff were compassionate, understanding and totally supportive during my journey. I now recommend this practice, (along with annual mammograms) to every woman I can."
