"I was in the store about to buy an item so I looked it up online and I saw the price for Petco so I went to the counter and the guy rang it up and it was a completely different price. When I asked him why it was a different price he said if I would’ve told him beforehand, he would have price matched it. I said price matched what it was Petco at which point he told me that the prices online were not updated as often as they were in the store so instead of arguing, I left, but I’ll just use chewy from now on."

"Great store with lots of options but I give it 3 stars because there’s barely another employee around. The store is too big for a customer to be roaming around hunting for an employee to assist. Every time I go here, it’s the same situation. No one is ever around."

"Scheduled an appointment for grooming for my senior dog and filled out the pre check in form they provide during the booking process, showed up to be rejected because he has a heart murmur which was clearly stated on the pre check in form. I would have appreciated if they went through their appointments and called clients prior to showing up so that it is not a colossal waste of time for us and a waste of an appointment. There is not need to spend time detailing your dog's information and history if they are not going to take the time to review prior to people showing up. Not a good system, it could have been a phone call and not a waste of time."

"This place was okay until the employee with the orange hair and cow ring in his nose was rude to me and his stupid orange “friend” decided he wanted to stick his ugly nose in other people’s business. I simply said he was rude and didn’t want him to ring me up because of it and I get attacked by his dumb “friend” like it’s embarrassing he can’t even talk for himself and needs a customer to. This place should hire people who aren’t wusses and aren’t rude. If you don’t like your job, work somewhere else or live in your moms basement for the rest of your life. It’s not my problem you’re having an awful day and you feel like you needed to have a nasty tone of voice with a consumer. Go to the petco in Garden City Park instead. Nicer people and not overrun by spineless employees."

"Love Petco. It's like a free zoo! Got new fish, too. After our last Angelfish died, my daughter wanted Oscars. We got 3 Oscars- albino, red, and tiger. We did have a blue cichlid, but it looks like the Oscars got him as he was smaller than them. Before, we had 3 Angelfish averaging 4 years old. The last one that died, a Koi Angelfish, would have been 5 years old next month. If you like personality, angelfish are the best. If you want beasts with personality, that would be Oscars. Their begging is cute. I nicknamed them, the troublemakers. Already, they are staying to jump. My daughter said to avoid a mishap, she feeds them from the back of the tank where it's open for the heater. Both my kids take part in feeding them. Their tank mates are 1 rather large yellow Pleco (named Mustard), 1 bottle nose pleco (should have been 2 but the troublemakers got him), 1 Cory, 1 cleaner catfish who rarely makes an appearance. Oh, and snails. Bought 2 dnails years go, not got hundreds lol. Update after 1 week, the trouble makers (Oscars) haven't cause any other deaths! So far, they murdered the blue cichlid and 1 of my favorite bottle nose plecos 2 days after I bought them."
