Our event coordinator Morgan Doyle was there every step of the way and helped make our day run smoothly and it was PERFECT!!! The food was fantastic, our cake made by one of their bakers Alex was TO DIE FOR!!! I can’t recommend having a wedding at the venue enough !!!!"

"This beautiful property far exceeds my expectations. My sister-in-law and I are staying in the luxuriously charming Sage Left and Sage Right. From our first steps out of the car, everything has been absolutely perfect. The atmosphere at the Inn is welcoming with every detail a dream. Cozy, warm and beautiful. We were greeted by a lovely woman at the front desk, and everyone we encountered, from the staff at the Inn, groundsmen, spa staff and the restaurant staff were caretaking and an absolute joy. It feels like a great big hug being here in the dead of winter. Walks through the bucolic pathways on the grounds are like being transported to a small beautifully maintained rural village. I had initially considered staying at Mohonk House, having stayed there before, but so pleased we chose to stay at Buttermilk Falls. An absolute jewel and my new favorite destination for a relaxing getaway. Planning now to make this an annual winter event. The afternoon tea and breakfast are held in the bright enclosed porch, perfectly presented with a view of the grounds and the water. It felt both luxuruous and charming. We were completely cared for by the staff. Looking forward to enjoying breakfast and another walk through the property before we leave."

"A wonderful experience at Buttermilk Falls! Stayed for New Year's. The area is beautiful, many trails to explore around the inn, and incredible views of the river. The staff was kind and considerate, enjoyed a lovely room and a delicious breakfast on New Year's Day. Highly recommend, and many thanks!"

"I only ate at Henry's restaurant in the room was fine because of the spacious and quiet which are two very important aspects of a dining experience to me. A friend and I decided to go someplace interesting and we went to Henry's and I was especially pleased with the quality and quantity of the food that was ordered. Our wait- person was not only efficient but seemed rather kind. I will definitely return to Henry's."

"Buttermilk Falls Inn & Spa Wedding Review! We got married in the barn at Buttermilk Falls Inn & Spa in September of 2023. Overall, we had a wonderful weekend. The folks who work there are all extremely nice, flexible, and chill. It really felt like we had the place to ourselves and the staff was respectful and supportive to make the weekend very special. Property: First, the property is incredibly gorgeous and perfect for a wedding. Friends and family stayed on property and all of the residences were lovely, both the on property houses and the inn itself. Guests enjoyed going on walks during the days, seeing the animals near the barn, and the free breakfast at the inn is SO GOOD. My wife and I stayed in Pony’s Pad, which was an awesome home base for the weekend. Rehearsal Dinner & Welcome Party: We chose to have our rehearsal dinner at the patio near the inn. They have a big pizza oven and do buffet-style dinner with a bar. We had some tricky weather (it was raining and chilly) and rented some heaters for the patio. With the tent flaps down and some heaters (rented) it was perfectly comfortable on the patio. After the rehearsal dinner, we did a welcome party with some snacks. It was also cozy and casual. We had some friends play music and used a bluetooth speaker when they were finished. The patio fit 50+ people comfortably for mingling and drinks. Ceremony and Reception: We were originally going to be married at the pond, but had to move to the Waterfront Patio due to construction at Henry’s restaurant. The change of plans was smooth and the location was stunning. It’s an incredible view of the Hudson, you really can’t complain. The reception in the barn was fantastic. We had around 75 people, it felt like the right size for that group. We fit everyone comfortably at tables with room for a dance floor. It was intimate and cozy and everyone danced like crazy. It was a great time. The food was solid, especially the desserts. Overall we had a fantastic experience at Buttermilk. It’s very nice without feeling too upscale or pretentious, and the venue knows how to throw a wedding. It was very special and exactly what we hoped. Highly recommend."
