"I could not be more excited to have found TOOS! I wear my shoes down quickly and needed someone reliable in the area. Ernie did a phenomenal job on our shoes. We took him several pairs of shoes, so he gave us a bulk discount. I had one pair of boots that a mouse chewed through - right in the front - that I have tried to repair for the last year. I lived in Houston, so there are dozens of cobblers, but everyone told me it would cost more than the boot itself. Ernie did a phenomenal job of patching the hole (I didn't want anything fancy, just not a gaping hole) and he made it look far better than I could have imagined! He put on new heels and sole protectors, restained boots, and repaired a hole - all for a fraction of what I was quoted for just the hole repair elsewhere. It was a great deal! PLEASE keep in mind that Ernie is the only cobbler left in the area! People love his work and he has a backlog of repairs, so it won't be a quick turnaround (unless perhaps you ask for him to expedite the repairs, and pay a little extra for the courtesy). Take shoes when they are out of season - i.e. sandals in the winter - and it will be SO worth the wait!"
