"A couple months ago I brought home my first parakeet, Imogen. Since then I’ve realized my love of birds and about a month afterwards I brought home three more. They all came scared and skinny, since the SPCA had just rescued them from an abusive home. Now they are the loudest and loveliest birds, who love to sing and land on my head and shoulders when they’re out of the cage! They are genuinely the best things that have happened to me and I’m so glad I’ve been able to give them a good forever home. They are lovely and happy birds and I’m so happy I got the chance to rescue them. Just a thank you to the amazing people at the SPCA for helping me find my birds. They all love each other so much and when they aren’t playing and singing they’re napping and preening each other, or gossiping and talking to each other. Thank you for helping me find them. I can’t wait to rescue more in the future."

"Had a stray roaming neighborhood for about 8 months. Posted pics on social media to see if she was someone lost animal. Tried to take her in, lasted 3 days when she ran out door but still hung around all the time. Took her to spca to see if she was chipped n fixed, she got updated shots. Now she is up for adoption. She will make someone very happy."

"Marlee is 14 year old lady with cancer.Marlee and max( pitbull) are best friends!!!!marlee has been with us about 6 years so in the eyes of the law I don’t own her ( a dog is property)so I called spca for help and they contacted her owner who did not answer!!!
