Dr. Annmarie Zimmermann, MD

"I have insurance and rarely get sick so I rarely go to the doctor. I usually have an annual checkup and then schedule the next one after the checkup is done. So in July of 2021 I had an appt and scheduled the next one for today, July 2022 at 8a.m. I get here and they told me they called and left a voice mail in September (10 months ago, 3 months after it was scheduled) asking to reschedule. So I respond - "so you didn't get ahold of me 10 months ago to reschedule an appt for July ? " there was zero followup. So they asked if I could reschedule as I was standing there and already took a day off from work and was already there! They cancelled the appt without confirmation - 10 months prior - with no followup! And now I have to wait another 3 months? Hope I don't actually get sick or need a doctor! I will be finding another PCP/OBGYN"

"I found Dr Zimmerman to be an excellent GP and OB during my 8 years as a patient. She is willing to listen and generally has excellent bed side manor. Kind and willing to order tests and make referrals quickly. The nurse midwives that work with her are excellent. My only complaints are that UPC is a very busy practice that possibly has more clients then it can handle. As a result when calling the practice be prepared to set on hold 3 to 20 minutes. The front office staff can be gruff in their demeanor at times. It maybe difficult to get an appointment with Dr Zimmerman right away. When I was pregnant I made my check up appointments months in advance. If I needed to see someone right away it was one of the midwives. For sick appointments I see an other care provider in the practice or go to an urgent care provider. My 5 star rating is for Dr Zimmerman if asked to rate the practice as a whole I would give is 3.5 stars."

"Dr Zimmerman is rude, disrespectful and negligent in her practice. Her attitude and dehumanization of people "less" than herself cost the life of our daughter when we were in our very early 20's. At the time we had no money, and no idea what action to take, now in early 40's with high paying jobs, I wish we had our current knowledge and financial backing back then. She would have lost her license and been charged with negligent homicide and malpractice."
