"Cool place. cool people. Synthesis maybe slightly pricier than competitors but i would say it is well worth the money and heres why: 1)6am classes, 11am classes and your typical 5/6pm classes etc. So if you have a wonky work schedule this is helpful to have options. 2) central location. Henrietta is smack dab in the middle of monroe county and right next to 390. 3) HUGE facility = lots of mat space 4) clean. Well kept."
"I spent a week in town for the holidays and got a weekly pass to train at Synthesis. It was a great experience in every way. The facilities are great, the people were kind and welcoming, and the instruction was top notch. From now on, when I’m in the area, I’ll always stop by. Edit: I forgot to say that the classes are taught in a very detailed, systemic, and logically progressing manner. It’d be great to learn here long term."

"I started training about a decade ago and have been to dozens of jiu-jitsu gyms around the world. I took a long break and was hesitant to get back on the mats, but finally toured a few gyms in Rochester and knew I found the place to train when I met Casey and his crew. Not only did they have the technical knowledge and cumulative and comprehensive coaching style I was looking for, but they were also some of the friendliest folks around. This is a rare but beautiful combination to find such a competitive team who is also laid back and leaves their egos at the door. Thanks for getting me back on the mats!"
