"Not enough variety of group fitness classes in the late afternoon/evening. The one instructor does same workout every class and has for years! Some classes are too late in the evening. Personal trainers don’t know how to train women. No one around to help with equipment unless they get paid to do so. Not a great experience for what you pay."
"Wonderful, clean, and family-friendly facility. My only recommendation would be to add additional squat racks. The two currently available are usually occupied (in my experience). However, I still fully recommend this YMCA."
"Didn't have the greatest experience with swim lessons for my daughter. The guy providing the lessons was totally unenthusiastic and ended the class 10 minutes early because he wanted to flirt with the lifeguard. Didn't even attend the final lesson and didn't go back, total waste of money. And it's a shame you can't pick the instructor when you sign up or the instructor isn't listed because the first girl my daughter had for lessons was great. Called to cancel my membership( the only reason I got one for myself and my daughter was for these lessons) and when they asked why and I told them the swim instructor was terrible they didn't even ask for any more details. Just canceled it and sent me on my way. Don't waste your money. And it's a shame because my daughter really wanted to learn to swim. Don't work with kids if you don't have any enthusiasm and you don't care. And this guy clearly didn't."
"My son goes to the Y every week day after school, sometimes on the weekends and it has had a positive impact on him. Especially health wise. He goes to workout and play basketball and it has drastically improved his social skills. I don't have any direct experience myself, but the facility is very clean."
