About the Business
DeSales Catholic School is a regional Catholic elementary school located in Lockport, New York. As a designated STREAM school, we strive to inspire our students to reach their full potential in and out of the classroom. Our nurturing community is dedicated to providing the highest academic standards and a faith-based education rooted in the values of love, compassion, mercy, sacrifice, and justice. Through our innovative approach to education, we aim to cultivate critical-thinkers and responsible future leaders. "My daughter started here at 3 years old , now she is 5 and going into kindergarten. The amount of growth I've seen is amazing! The teachers are wonderful , the entire staff is great. I have a 3 year old son who will be starting soon as well. I also have a 16 year old who didn't get the opportunity to go to private school.. I see a huge difference looking back. Get rid of a car payment and give your child a great education , sacrifice whatever you can to get them in a private school like de sales , we are really low income but make the kids education #1 . Anyone can afford it its all about what your priorities are and what your willing to live without as far as material things. UPDATE: my daughter is now going into 6th grade and my son into 4th. My daughter was found to have a learning disability by outside testing I’ve had done. De Sales is working with her but 6th grade will be the ultimate test as it has been known that DeSales and private schools in general don’t have the resources they need for some kids that have bigger road blocks to overcome. Additionally DeSales staff of bogged down , it seems like almost every employee wears multiple hats. We will have a new therapist this year for 2022/23 which is great because she didn’t have enough time to do counseling she had to wear to many hats plus I believe she was just taking on to much by being in a graduate program outside of work while also being a mom and wife. It’s not fair to the teachers and staff but it’s ultimately not fair to the children. There’s room for improvement. Also my daughter has been taking Spanish every year for 5 years and doesn’t know any Spanish beyond counting to 10 and saying hello. I think this class should be replaced with something else."
"DeSales Catholic School in Lockport, NY is the best by far overall for not just the Education being Received, but the Students, Families, Teachers /Staff are curtains, helpful, polite and with that, the overall Atmosphere /Climate of the School is TopNotch and worth the Tuition. I consider it an investment in the Quality Education that they are receiving there!!!"
"My nephew goes here (DeSale's) and here's doing outstanding! Great teachers and school where (Christian)morals are still taught. Also my father graduated from here in the late '70's (1978-79) Fantastic school!"
