"Dr Merkel has been very caring and professional, from my first appt, to my foot surgery and post op care. His office has run on time for every appt, would highly recommend Dr Merkel for anyone who needs help with a foot problem."

"Tried to make an appointment to a very rude receptionist, was put on hold and 8 minutes later was hung up on. Called back an hour later, was rudely put on hold AGAIN and line disconnected. This practice needs attention promptly. :("

"I was there today to have an injury to my big toe looked at that didn't seem to be healing. The whole office area and waiting room were very clean (Yes, I do notice things like that!), and the staff very friendly. Dr. Paul Merkel was very specific about explaining to me the condition of my toe (old injury aside) and took xrays to make sure there wasn't still a foreign object there. He also shaved down some tissue to look more closely at where the thorn had gone in. I'm on blood thinners, though, and after going home after 3 hours I still couldn't get the toe to stop bleeding where the razor had shaved in, so I called the office back. Dr. Paul Merkel was in surgery, but they contacted Dr. Andrew Merkel who made a house call! Yeah, can you believe it? He came to my house armed with bandages and nitrate something or under to pack into the area of the toe that wouldn't stop bleeding. Very friendly, very reassuring, I have to wear the bandage for 24 hours, and it did hurt for a little bit for a little while, but it's fine now. I was very impressed by the personal and instant response to the situation. Looking forward to the follow up visit."

"Terrible. So unprofessional. Waited half an hour to be seen..Then the doctor literally spoke over me...more than once. He was seeing two other patients at the same time as my appointment. I've never been so disgusted by a practice in my life. Go anywhere else."
