"My 6 year old granddaughter went for an evaluation here due to learning disabilities. However, when I read her “so-called” evaluation results I was astonished at the incompetence. The interpretations of testing are in question and there were tests used that had poor validity and reliability. Additionally, there was no reason to include two IQ tests as the Wechler IQ test is more comprehensive, so the second, the Kauffman, is superfluous. Moreover, I have concerns about the scoring as a masters-level clinician was listed as the assessor. Only doctors of psychology should do scoring and interpretation. The report was confusing and unstructured reflective of inadequate skills in test interpretation. As well, the report contained inappropriate subjective comments about the testee. I am astonished that my daughter paid hundreds of dollars for such incompetence. The psychologists on staff should be more diligent. Please think twice about subjecting any child to such ineptitude!"

"I was directed by DSS and my attorney to attend counseling sessions here to get custody back of my daughter. I was given a counselor by the name of Gabriella Nissan. Since the beginning of our sessions, she has done nothing but interigated me, tried to "catch" me in lies, etc. Ex. Of questions I was asked: When you read a book, do you think about the past, present or future? What was your goal when deciding to make a book for your daughter? After replying that I didn't have a goal and that it was because I love her, I was pressured to come up with an answer other than the one I just have. I was also asked how many times I plan to change my daughter's diaper. When I replied "whenever she needed a change, I was forced to come up with a different answer more specifically as how many times in one day, down to the very hour AND how I would keep track of this. When I finally confronted this women, she took my "talking about how I felt"as argumentive. The psychiatrist there, Paul Miller is just as bad. 1st off, I never met this guy in my life (totally unprofessional) until he showed up in court to testify against me. He refers to my unhappiness with Gabriella as "Splitting." Apparently, this is some mental disorder that makes people see people as good in the beginning and then turns on them. To reiterate, I never liked this woman from the start. I also made my own list of goals to work on because the counselor was only asking me nonsense questions every session which had absolutely nothing to do with my daughter. Miller lied on the stand and said those were the goals that were given to me by them. When I looked at him outside of court, he looked guilty. I wouldn't be surprised if DSS paid him to say everything he did. I was told by my attorney in the beginning that it wouldn't look good if I changed counselors, so I had been sucking this up since September of 2019 Note: I spent almost a month at NUMC psychiatric unit last summer willingly for an evaluation to prove I was sane. I got an excellent report. However, the judge Robin Kent only wants to use negative reports so she doesn't have to reunite me with my child. I wish I went to New Horizons instead, a referal by NUMC."
