Align Scoliosis Physical Therapy

"I have truly enjoyed working with Kristin over the past year and a half. At 73 I developed a severe case of sciatica due to my scoliosis and was referred for physical therapy by my doctor at HSS. Happily I found Dr. Kristin Romeo, a Schroth specialist. She was so positive from the start. Through massage work she helped relax the muscles that were pinching my sciatic nerve and instructed me in a whole series of exercises to strengthen the muscles that support my lower lumbar region. It was a slow process at first due to the level of pain I was experiencing that limited the amount of exercise I could tolerate, but Kristin never gave up on me. I can happily state that I am currently pain free. I continue to do the many exercises she taught me and try to stay as active as I can to keep my back muscles strong. I cannot thank Kristin enough for not giving up on me and recommend her most highly!"
