"Update - 5 years later and they are now sending bills again for the appointment I cancelled, but now double the cost with "late fees" suddenly added. Had bloodwork done for allergy testing. It took well over a month to finally have the appointment where they tell me what I'm allergic to. I had to cancel it the morning of and they charged me nearly $90 for a missed appointment. When I told them I canceled it, they said they have no record of that and sent it to a debt collector. They are also refusing to tell me what I'm allergic to. I've called 3 times to ask (I'm not giving them a $90 "missed appointment fee" and $50 copay to just read off what I'm allergic to) and they always tell me that the nurse will call back. They never do. My primary contacted them to find out so they can let me know, but they have yet to get back to them either. I paid for the tests and they're legally obligated to provide me with the results, regardless of whether or not I'll be going back to them"

"This facility is nothing but wonderful. I am always greeted with a smile and always feel comfortable sharing my problems. The doctor, nurses, and staff are all amazing people who take there job seriously yet make sure you are happy."

"Dr Melgar is the worst and most ignorant doctor I have ever seen. Extremely rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Would not listen or explain any of my testing, or answer any questions I had. Told me the results of my blood work mean nothing, "diagnosed" me with asthma which I do not have as I had previously been tested the week prior IN HIS OFFICE and also told me that my abnormal blood tests which were elevated just mean "my body is doing a good job". Only giving 2 stars because one nurse was friendly, along with the girl on the phone and the nurse practitioner I saw my first visit was great."

"This office is very unprofessional in how they treated me and started me on allergy shots. I was supposed to get a signed and dated contract and disclosures about starting the procedure and I was not given any physical copies or digital copies of paperwork. A few months ago I was trying to conceive and they did a horrible job at letting patients know what is exactly inside these allergy shots. Turns out the was a chemical in them that causes abortions, luckily I did not miscarry before I found out 2 YEARS LATER. I was so upset at how unprofessional this office manages their paperwork and policies. I feel as if all people should know what they are getting out into their bodies especially parents who bring their babies to get allergy shots. We have a right to know what gets put into our bodies. I have since switched over to a different allergy doctor and they are excellent!"

"My 1 star review is for Dr. Melgar's staff. I've never experienced such ignorance, sloth, belligerence, incompetence, and bigotry in all my years combined. I am looking into legal action action against them. Why? 2 weeks ago, my mother-in-law went to see Dr. Melgar. He ordered blood work for her. We paid for this visit ourselves, no insurance. 1 week ago, my mother-in-law was approved for medicaid and received her card. Today, she went for blood work ordered by Dr. Melgar. For one of the orders, the facility required something extra, a code of some kind. Dr. Melgar's staff member refused to do this, calling my wife a liar, that her mother had medicaid all along and they don't accept Medicaid. (Completely ignoring the fact we paid for the visit without Medicaid) She was so rude & hostile that my wife called me in angry tears. Complete refusal to fulfill their duties, simply because they are too lazy. We paid for the service. All they have to do is fulfill their obligation started by Dr. Melgar's orders. We can take the results to another doctor. No problem. But we can't take the results if the morons won't give the OK for the doctor's orders."
