"Completely devastated. I was truly hoping to finally get some answers for my daughter. Our appointment was at 9. I confirmed with him three times on the phone and he knows where we were coming from (an hour and a half away) and I even was like ok so we’ll have to leave at 7/730. We never received any reminder call or message to confirm or remind us of time. We get there at 830, at 845ish some lady came out and sat down and was like are you here for Davis i said yeah we are a little early then she just sits there then goes to the back. Then 915/20 a guy comes out and is like who are you folks here for I said Toby Davis He just stared and said your appointment was at 8 I said no it’s at 9 he said I’m Toby Davis it was 8 I said oh I have it on my calendar at 9. He had negative vibes and seemed argumentative and was like no it was 8. Then my husband took over and told him that I had confirmed with him twice on the phone and I don’t usually get these things wrong. The guy was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. He did say he’d schedule us for later today, but after how we were treated and his attitude we didn’t want him speaking and working with our child, plus we live 90 minutes away and there’s nothing to do in that town, so we just left. He must have thought my husband was military (which he isn’t) because he saluted him on his way out the door and said zero 800 in a condescending manner. I guess we will just get on a waitlist somewhere else and hopefully get treated with more dignity and respect especially with a child involved. I suggest the business implement a scheduling system that sends out written confirmations and reminders especially knowing the struggles of the people he works with. Even if he would have called at 8:15 when we still weren’t there to ask if we were lost, because he even asked if we knew where it was and I said no but I’m sure we could figure it out, he would have known we were 15 minutes away since we wanted to be there early for our 9am appointment."
