Margaritas Mexican Cantina

"The whole thing was good. Our server was great. And the food and drinks were amazing. And we love the place. But we tried to keep the bill under $50 so we can choose our own gratuity. And we were. We were $48.73 with tax. But yet they still added $9 tip on automatically. But it wasn’t over $50. Again everything was great so I didn’t mind. But if our server was bad I would’ve been annoyed. Set a price and stick with it."

"My family enjoyed our dinner and I'm sure there margarita tower didn't hurt! We shared a guava flavored tower and it was a bit sweet but good and was plenty for the four of us. Strong too! I enjoyed my trio of tacos - carne asada and shrimp were the best. Nachos also a big hit. Not glooped up with melted cheese, rather a nice mix of toppings that served as a yummy dip all around. Good guac too. Recommend for a large group."

"My daughter came in about 230 pm on Sunday, we were seated with no wait time. Once seated it was 10-15 minutes before any staff staff checked on us. We waited patiently and scoured the enormous menu in the meantime. A server stopped by the table to see if we were being helped, she proceeded to bring us large glasses of water and salsa and chips. Within minutes of those arriving we were pleasantly greeted by a tall young man that introduced himself as our waiter, service was smooth sailing after that. Prompt and attentive service with a smile. The ambiance is upbeat Latino atmosphere with unique festive artwork and decor. I don’t make any claims to be a Mexican food aficionado, I just know what I like. The salsa was the average restaurant style, we ordered mini chimichangas split between beef and chicken that came with a warm white cheese dip. Those were delicious, I preferred the chicken. My daughter ordered the chicken quesadilla that looked amazing. I ordered the supreme enchilada which also looks amazing but unfortunately the enchiladas were all soggy underneath the pile of lettuce and tomatoes. The enchilada sauce was bland and had no heat or spice, the dish also needed additional sour cream and guacamole. It was ok overall, I would not order that entree again. The Margaritas were enormous and delicious! I had the Blue Margarita on the rocks and my daughter had Blue Pomegranate Frozen! I would have tried a second they were so good and well worth $15! Overall it was a fun visit, I will return to try other meal options, or even a Margarita and an appetizer!"

"I had the enchiladas, beans, rice, and margaritas, and everything was delicious! The enchiladas were especially good, with a flavorful filling and a crispy tortilla. The beans and rice were also cooked perfectly, and the margaritas were refreshing and not too sweet. The atmosphere at the restaurant is nice and cozy, with traditional Mexican decor. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the service is fast. The prices are also reasonable, making this a great place to go for a casual meal with friends or family."

"I little pricey but well worth it , this is by far the best restaurant that i have visited in Syracuse. Food is tasty , drinks are strong and service is great . After 50 bucks there will be a 20 % gratuity included in your ticket that your server will make sure to let you know that it is split between all servers , bartenders , hostess , etc etc . That is the only down side of this restaurant. I should not have to be paying for these workers salaries!!"
