"I used to enjoy visiting Nail&Spa in New Paltz Plaza, but my recent experience left much to be desired. Opting for a pedicure and full leg waxing, I had hoped for a cozy moment of relaxation and pampering. Unfortunately, my assigned esthetician, a young girl, lacked the professionalism I had anticipated. She rushed through the pedicure, skipping steps like massaging my feet, and her lack of experience was evident during the waxing process. The waxing room itself was cramped and disorganized, with an untidy floor and unclean utensils. Disappointingly, after the so-called "waxing," I was handed an oily clump of cotton wool to clean myself. While I didn't expect a high-end treatment, the $120 price tag for this sloppy and underwhelming experience felt quite excessive and unjustified."

"Yesterday I called early in the morning and was able to get an appointment for later that day. I arrived 15 minutes early and they took me right in. My nails were done very poorly by a different salon where my hard gel set was peeling up. The technician was able to get off all the old gel and rebuild all the messed up hard gel underneath and also was able to do this beautiful design that I had came in with a reference photo for. Perfect job!"

"Two different times I walked in to see if they had someone available to give me a pedicure, and both times, the attitude was, "How dare you try to give us business without an appointment!" In contrast, I went to Angel Nails down the road and was treated courteously, despite the fact that it was near their closing time, and given a pedicure. I'm not used to being treated so discourteously, I would rather not get used to it, and I wouldn't book an appointment here because of the nasty attitude (and because I like to be able to walk in and get a pedicure when the mood strikes me)."

"I will never waste my money here again. I rarely get my nails done since I’m in the food industry, but I had a special occasion and this location had good reviews. I went for a gel manicure, and only got a polish. The mail technician was nice, but didn’t give me a manicure at all. Normally for a basic manicure they clean your nails, your cuticle bed gets cleaned, they lotion your hands and soak your nails. The only thing she did was shape my nails apply the gel polish. At the end she had me wash my hands, and before I got up to leave asked me if I wanted lotion. I was surprised and said yes thank you, only to be handed a sticky and slippery lotion bottle. For $40 not including tip, I would rather just stay home and do my nails myself. What a horrible experience. Wish I could get a refund, so I can go somewhere they actually provide the services they charge you for."

"I travel about 30 mins to go here because they do a fantastic job! Mimi has done my nails twice and Her work is on point! Highly recommend. She takes her time and I appreciate that. Sometimes your aptmt may start a little late but it’s because they don’t cut corners so then you get the same treatment, so it’s worth the wait. Also I even went rock climbing with my acrylic+gels and they held until they grew out long so I had to get them redone 3-4 weeks later. Excellent work!"
