"We went to the tasting room before catching a show at the landmark theater and sat at the nice little bar they have. The atmosphere is cozy and lights are dim it's the perfect place to sit back and have a drink and relax with friends. We did not try the food but will definitely come back when we have more time. The drink I had was a speciality drink they had as they do whenever a show is happening and it was tasty. It was something with vodka and cranberry. We will be back again one day for sure!"

"We had the pleasure of dining at The Tasting Room Saturday evening, November 18, 2023. We enjoy dining out, so have explored many (if not most) of the restaurants in the Syracuse area, and we left our dinner last night extremely impressed and with reservations already made for a return. The service was impressive. Thank you Susie, for your excellent and spot-on wine recommendations, and thank you to our bartender (I'm so sorry we didn't remember your name) for our delicious blackberry old-fashioneds. Our other server, Jane, rounded out the exemplary service crew. Our shared Caesar salad was one of the best we've ever had - the taste of the shaved parmesan was on another level. My husband's filet mignon was cooked perfectly, deeply delicious, and butter knife tender. My scallops were expertly seared and served on the most delicious corn puree with a bit of spice. House made desserts (raspberry lemon trifle and flourless chocolate torte) were flawless, and our 10 year tawney port was the perfect (and rarely found) accompaniment. We are sincerely looking forward to our return."

"I didn’t know what to expect with our first visit to the Tasting Room, but I have to say it didn’t disappoint. In fact, it exceeded our expectations immensely. First off, the staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly. Second, the food - wow, just wow. Reading the menu online I immediately thought this will be one of those places that talks a big game but doesn’t really deliver. We couldn’t have been more wrong. The crab cakes were perfect and arguably the best I’ve had, with a delicate, Thai-inspired sauce that worked so well with the crab cakes. The smoked Gouda mac and cheese with “burnt ends” was an amazing balance of flavors and so addicting. The beet salad was a perfect palate cleanser for the main course of Teres major medallions with a bourbon cream sauce, smashed potatoes and crispy, roasted broccolini. We followed that up with a couple of desserts, too. I mean, everything was delicious, prepared very well, and quality ingredients. If I had any complaint, it would be their steak knives - but the steak was very tender so it certainly wasn’t a deal breaker. The icing on the cake was the staff. Claire, our server, was a delight and Susie, the bartender, was a blast! Fun, playful, and knowledgeable drink recommendations made for a wonderful night out. We guarantee we’ll be back!!!!"

"Came here for our 5th anniversary and had a great evening! When we arrived they had a little sign on the table wishing us a happy anniversary, and they comped us a bottle of Prosecco! They had a limited Mean Girls themed menu to go with the show at Landmark, and my husband enjoyed a flight of whiskey from a huge selection. We had a wonderful evening!"
