"I am in total pleasure with the outcome of my new haircut. After I failed to properly care for my color treated hair, I went to Carly, the owner of the salon, and requested a bigchop. I was a bit afraid to do it because the last time I had a short haircut was over 10yrs ago and it was relaxed. Being natural, I wasn't sure how I would fair, but all of my fears went away when I sat in her chair and then she removed my hair wrap. She talked to me about the current status of my hair and how she would fix it. And she did just that. We changed the color to jet black, which pops against my brown skin. She asked me if I wanted lines in it, which I excitedly said, "Yes! Let's do it!" The lines on the side really added a boost of flare to my cut. Since debuting my new cut on March 30th, I've received sooooo many compliments from family, friends and strangers. And I mention it was done by Carly from Texture Beauty. Listen, I don't know how long I will keep the cut, but I do know that I have fallen in love with my hair all over again.
