"I would not even give them one star. They took xrays that were not covered with out checking they are the 3d that my insurance only pays for every 72 months. My husband needed a basic cleaning and when he went in for his appointment they would not do a basic cleaning. They said he needed a deep cleaning and they would have to submit to insurance. He told them our old dentist did that and it was denied. He asked for the basic cleaning he was scheduled for and they refused. Wasting his and their time. My 20 year old son needed to see a dental surgeon for his wisdom teeth. He called to confirm his xrays were sent to the surgeon and they were so rude to him and hung up on him. I wound never go back to Western New York Dental after this."

"I've been going to WNY Dental in Blasdell for a few years now and I am very happy with the service I have received. My Dental Hygienist Kayla really seems to care about me and my dental health. I would definitely recommend coming to this location."

"I checked with my dental insurance company before I ever made an appointment and they were in Network. After two appointments I received a high bill as they suddenly were not in network. I am review the billing/ ar department. They are the rudest people I've ever delt with. Instead of sending me a statement they chose other means which were not friendly. I refuse to go back because if this."

"I would never recommend this place. Hygienist was very rude. Practice manager didn't care one bit. My dentist left this practice, and when I ask where she went, they replied "we don't give out the info" Its my doctor, I should be able to know, so I can go back to her. Just a bad experience and can see why my dentist is no longer there. Thankfully I found her and can now go to some one who shows she cares. Again, I would never recommend the Blasdell location. Practice manager should be replaced."

"Scheduled a cleaning with the Blasdell office - I have another dentist I use also for periodic cleaning. Hygienist Marianne stated cld not clean unless full mouth xrays done ($160) + $90 for cleaning. I explained I’ve had xrays since and was only prepared to pay cash for the cleaning (approx 90) and assessment by DrStarkey at this appt as no insurance. My option was cancel this appt $50 - or reschedule. I also spoke to front desk as paying the $50 - I asked why did they not inform me of this prior to the appt.? as many don’t have dental insurance and need to be aware of the cost approx for the cleaning. they were not empathetic nor cared about their patient’s- If they noted I had not had a cleaning at this office and they had this POLICY (which others I’m sure are not aware of) that I should of been informed of the Full X-ray requirement and cost! perhaps when scheduling??? A waste of my time and the hygienist also comment “now i have no patients for an hour”. Receptionist upon checking out for $50 - stated she will make a note of my comments. I said I doubt that they were ‘my comments’ I stated that patients with NO dental insurance require to be made aware and not just ‘sprung’ on them once sitting in the chair. Hygienist and reception were rude. Very disappointed. Loved Dr Starkey But customer service and kindness to patients comes first and the individuals I’ve met here dont meet my expectations of how patients shld be treated. I see the same has happened to others that have had other situations affecting their appt. Do not recommend anymore"
