Aspen Dental - Blasdell, NY - Hamburg

"Unfortunately, I am not able to give 0 stars. This was a new patient appointment as my previous provider was no longer part of my insurance. I went in yesterday and had to get X-rays done or they would not proceed with the appointment for cleaning. The technician was very nice but the entire process took very long. I was then taken to a room where the hygienist did a gum test and took a 3D picture of my teeth. The dentist came in looked inside my mouth and said “ you have a great mouth and teeth.” I replied great as I want to keep them and he quipped that “ your teeth are better than mine.” Next, an office manager proceeded to tell me that I needed to have some procedures done and that my insurance would not cover them. I asked what they were and it was an oral cancer test and scaling which is a deep cleaning procedure for back end teeth. I said that I did not need those tests and was told that they could not proceed with the cleaning until I had them done. I was livid. I spent almost 2 hours for a general 6 month check up and they would not do it unless I paid for unnecessary tests. I left and will not be back. I put in a complaint against them with my insurance as this was ridiculous and made me feel as they were trying to upsell me unnecessary procedures."

"This office is amazing! Efficient, clean, friendly. I put my work off for 14 years. I went to several dentist over the years. It walked in here and felt comfort immediately. Highly recommend especially for the skittish a lot of people are afraid of dentist and they are wonderful"

"Very easy to get an appointment. Everyone very friendly, made you feel at ease. A complete dental service. Very thorough. I've been putting off getting partials because my previous dentist wanted to use one where a metal piece would run across the roof of my mouth. Aspen dental has a less invasive partial that I believe would work perfectly with no metal. I will update my progess. I highly recommend Aspen dental. They have very flexable financing should your insurance not cover the cost."

"Loved the quickness to see me for a broken wisdom tooth. Got in to be seen and got all a full updated tooth file then a cleaning the next day and set up an extraction. Super easy and helpful. Love it here since everyone is so warm and welcoming. The atmosphere here is really great and relaxing. Would highly recommend."
