"I went in to get my haircut and Abigail was the hair stylist on. I had long at least waist length hair and was looking to get about 6 inches cut off. I explained to her that my hair is very important to me and I have some anxiety when it comes to cutting my hair . Abigail talked me into 14 inches so I could donate, “ it will be mid back” per her. I later found out that due to my hair being damaged I could not donate, I had thought since she is a hair stylist she would know if I could or could not donate. I left with hair almost to my shoulders ( I ended up losing at least 20 to 24 inches , well over the 6 inches I intended and am unable to donate ) Abigail was very good at hiding any issues during styling so you can not see any issues , I did not get to see the back of my hair until I later had a picture taken to show me the awful cut I received. My layers were at least 4 inches in difference in the same layer. I ended up having to go to another area salon to get this fixed ( I sat in their chair crying as they attempted to fix my hair). The second salon did an amazing job at with what they had to work with. This will take months of going I back to have my hair blended to fix this. I have areas of thick and thin that I will have to straighten on a daily basis to make the difference less noticeable. I have had hair cuts done at Walmart before with no issues . I do know that most are just licensed and do not have a ton of experience, but I was never expecting this level of inexperience of a hair stylist working on her own on a salon. I will never go back again. This occurred on Wednesday August 3,2022 ."
