"As a non-traditional/Encore alumnae, I never envisioned how much confidence and hope Wesleyan would bring to me. The curriculum was hard. But, the empowerment I received from my professors/mentors, student body and the staff helped me believe in myself. I was able to grow as an individual, impact my community and my loved ones. Wesleyan is a place for any individual that’s looking for empowerment, growth and success. Wesleyan will be a part of you forever."

"I was an international student at Wesleyan college from 2014-2018. When I look back at my time there, the most prominent aspect of my journey was my growth and how Wesleyan aided me through the process. I started as a shy, unsure freshman and graduated as a leader ready for the world. I was surrounded by women who were supportive, encouraging and always a shoulder to lean on. In addition, I was exposed to work-life from my work study opportunity at the Admissions office, leadership with my involvement in student organizations like SGA, and pretty much everything as a Resident Advisor. And I never struggled when it came to resources and extra support I needed from my professors to ensure I got to my goals."

"I was a non-traditional student at Wesleyan College. I worried at first about being in an environment with students so much younger than I was. But that was not the case at all. I fit in easily with the students and the professors treated me the same as well. I did not finish college in my 20's as most people do. But I remember thinking had I attended Wesleyan after high school, I would have completed my degree when I was younger. Wesleyan is a great school for women to get a great education, make connections for careers after graduation, and feel like you belong. A few years later, my daughter also graduated from Wesleyan and is now a nurse with more confidence and drive than I would ever have imangined for her."

"The years I spent at Wesleyan changed my life. I came onto campus unsure of who I was and where I saw myself in the future, and I left with a strong sense of self and purpose. Everyone I came into contact with wanted to see me thrive and would go out of their way to help me achieve my goals. I made lifelong friends on campus and found a lifelong hobby from my time on the Equestrian Team. My classes were engaging and challenged me to think outside the box, and I have carried countless tools I learned in the classroom and through research and internships to my professional life and continued studies. I still enjoy coming to campus to ride, enjoy the arboretum and athletic facilities, and engage with people and events on campus. I highly recommend a Wesleyan Education."

"I was a non-traditional student who worked at Wesleyan while earning my degree. I graduated in 2016. I majored in advertising and marketing communication which was a strong, well-designed program. It consisted of business, art, and communication classes. Each class challenged me greatly and I find myself using so much of what I learned in my career every day. I love the Wesleyan experience so much that I am now in their Masters program, working towards my MBA! Wesleyan has been home for me for a long time. It's certainly a special place to be."
