"Really great local hiking spots on the grounds, a fantastic cemetery to explore also"

"I wouldn’t send my child to Earlham College if the education was free. This school is buried under layers and layers and layers of financial mismanagement, leadership inadequacy, entitlement, crumbling facilities. Their commitment to their Quaker principles is a theory only. Treatment of employees is terrible. Professional growth is not possible. Earlham will crush your professional enthusiasm."

"Earlham College and Earlham School of Religion have many wonderful faculty, staff, and students. Unfortunately, the current Board of Trustees and President are creating a toxic environment. Their lack of transparency and failure to follow Quaker processes in leadership have led to a negative campus culture that is impacting people at all levels. I would not recommend EC/ESR under this current administration."

"My daughter attends Earlham and she is having a great experience there. The class sizes are small and personalized which is ideal for learning. The food and living arrangements have been wonderful as well. Update: I posted my original review in the fall of 2017 and currently it is September 2019. My daughter is now in her third year and is still very happy that she decided to attend Earlham College. Earlham offers great opportunities to study abroad. She is a French major and is currently spending fall semester 2019 in Toulouse, France studying at a French University thanks to an Earlham off-campus program. When classes are over in Toulouse, she will return to Earlham to finish her third year. Time is flying by and she is enjoying her Earlham experience, making friends, growing, and learning a lot. I think graduation will be exciting for her but that she will also be a bit sad to leave, to me that's part of a good college education."
