"Fun place to hang out!! I love the market generally (it's such a cool spot) but I really enjoy hanging out here for a drink in the evening with friends when I'm in town! The drinks are good and not too expensive for how nice the atmosphere is! The staff are really friendly in my experience. The area around the market has made me a little uncomfortable in general (for parking and walking over alone at night under the bridge area) but I haven't had any specific issues beyond discomfort and there have been friendly security people on the premises any time I've been at the market."

"Simply an amazing addition to Syracuse! Both the coffee and cocktails are top-notch quality, and the space is super inviting and relaxing. They have everything you need to just hang out and chill, whether it be with a coffee and laptop to get some work done, or to enjoy late-night hand-crafted seasonal cocktails by the fire pits during the summer (shout out to Lucas and Steve in particular for their cocktail creations!). They also feature a top-notch beer list of both drafts and cans, populated primarily by local & NYS breweries. Bonus fun - during the FIFA World Cup they showed every single match on pull-down projector system in their main seating area, and watching the epic final this year with a packed house was such an awesome experience, one that I wouldn't have expected to find in Syracuse normally. Can't recommend Salt City Bar & Coffee highly enough!"

"Very cool concept serving some very good beverages. Tried the artichoke dip and it was pretty tasty, with plenty of chips to go with it. The martinis were mixed and presented nicely. The staff are extremely nice and you’re allowed to bring food from other vendors inside Salt City Market to enjoy with your drinks. The outside fire pit seating area and kids play area is a nice touch too."

"First time visiting and wow, it was really nice. Many options to choose from. The ambiance was very chill with people working independently, having meetings or just catching up. The aroma of the coffee filled the air. I will definitely revisit more regularly. Nice spot to chill with comfortable chairs."

"Great vibes, super-friendly staff, and delicious brews and nosh! Our hotel’s coffee shop is not open due to COVID so we walked across the street to Salt City Bar. The staff was tremendously friendly and thoroughly answered our questions on drink choices. We ended up trying the speciality - Fruity Pebble Latte. It was so unique and delicious! We also had a raspberry crumble and oatmeal cream pie. Two thumbs up for both. We are here until Tuesday and I have a feeling we’ll be patrons every morning until we leave!"
