"This place was recommended to me by multiple coworkers of mine and I am very glad I switched from my previous mechanic in the area. Pen Fair is fantastic. Their pricing is very reasonable, the service is always impeccable. They pointed out a problem from our previous garage and made sure we were taken care of properly without any hassle or extra charges. Ron is so friendly on the phone and is very transparent about whatever is wrong with my car (I really beat her up) so that I can be an educated consumer and we can work together to get her back in shape. He explains the job in a way anybody can understand. I grew up with a few family members in the industry so I know a good garage when I'm at one. These guys are busting at the seams with business because they are simply the best and deserve the utmost recognition and respect."

"Great place! They tried for days, almost weeks, to work with my absolutely useless warranty company(Smart Autocare). Once that claim was denied (the warranty "expert" claimed the leaf spring, in the middle of the pack, broke due to literal surface rust on a part used in upstate NY, right after winter.) After that debacle was over, these guys had my parts ordered and installed before the week was over. Fantastic! Highly recommend them."

I need a knee and hip replacement so doing my own work on my cars has just become too painful, so I bring my cars to Pennfair service. I'm hard to please but they have always been fair, quick and very good to deal with. I highly recommend them. Do not go to dealers. They are all profit based, and always looking to things wrong or ways to up sell you."

These guys are the real deal -honest, extremely friendly, excellent communication of problems / repairs, and top-notch work to boot. I understand that some folks have had dubious interactions with other shops, that leave them either on comfortable, or mistrusting, but you can set those feelings aside at Pen Fair Services. "Being a long time resident of Penfield for years I would bring my car to the auto chain repair shops until the guys I trusted had slowly left so it was time for me to leave. I then brought my car to the repair shop up the road and after about almost 2 years it felt like they didnt want or appreciate my business, like "we have enough business" doing anything extra for you or moving quicker because you need your car is no concern of ours. So I decided to support these guys who also support my son's Boy scout troop for a large fundraiser. They are friendly, courteous and do a great job and price is always fair.
