"First off, I'm a beer drinker and stopped at 9 Pin to satisfy my wife. I found 9 Pin to be more of a tasting room than a bar. Very small space, and we didn't try any of the food. The cider tender was very helpful, and he let me try a couple before I decided on a cranberry cider. It's very tasty, and it may have opened my mind to try more ciders in the future. My wife loves 9 Pin and we left with over 2 cases."
"Enjoyed a flight of ciders. So many flavours (I'm Canadian we spell some words differently) I just wish we could have stayed longer. So disappointed we couldn't bring the Christmas one home with us, none available in cans. The charcuterie plate was so yummy!"
"I was excited to try this place and the atmosphere was great. It's in a cool, trendy industrial area, parking is a tricky and it was packed on a rainy Saturday. I did one flight of four ciders...the Signature, Crimson Kiwi, Apple Piesecco and one other, but I didn't love any of them. I had duper high hopes, but they were all super sour and tart! I didn't eat, but people seemed to be enjoying their food and everything looked good."
"I have always loved cider. Maybe it's the upstate girl in me, I don't know, but hard cider just makes any day better. Conveniently, Nine Pin is down the street from my job - where I have a lot of rough days during the summer. But even if it was the other side of the state, I'd make a point to come here! The drinks? Fabulous. Not sure what you want? Get a flight! I did this last night and Lauren set me up with a great set of drinks - she really knows her stuff and is incredibly friendly and fun. The Apple Pie-Secco was easily the favorite of what she gave me this time, though the original will always hold a place in my heart. The atmosphere here is also amazing. Want to sit inside? The main room you walk into is so cozy, and the view of the cider taps is something you just have to see for yourself. Want to sit outside? No problem! Want to sit outside but it's raining? Still no problem! I honestly love sitting in the covered patio area with friends. I always have a great experience here!!"
