"Purchased a car here that supposedly had major service done (head gasket, water pump and timing belt) and brakes replaced. Within a month the engine was leaking oil. I had my trusted mechanic diagnose it was a bad head gasket. Brought it back to Joe for repair, but he said it wasn't the head gasket. He "fixed it", only it started leaking oil again within a few weeks. After multiple calls/texts, he finally admitted the head gasket was leaking and agreed to fix it. But the fix consisted of using the wrong parts and stripping bolts in the engine, one of which snapped and almost caused the engine to seize. I brought the car to a reputable mechanic to have it fixed, which required a new timing belt/pulleys to fix the botch repair job repair by Joe. The brakes were also shot within a year because the rotors were warped...clearly they were not replaced as Joe said, but just resurfaced. Nothing but headaches, excuses, false promises and accusations dealing with Joe. I DO NOT recommend going to Louies Car Clinic for anything! Stay FAR FAR AWAY!!"

"I live in Maryland but grew up in WNY. My mother and brother swear by Louie's Car Clinic (LCC). After taking a Covid test at a local CVS, we pulled out and my minivan started acting up. Lights came on and it started bucking. I had it towed to my dealership and they said that it needed about $4k in repairs (piston rings, spark plugs, and timing belt) before they could even check the transmission. My brother said "no, send it up here." After getting a car carrier to pick it up from the dealership and transport it up to LCC (yes, I had to pay for transport), the owner of LCC, Joe, let me know that it was a spark plug issue. He had the minivan worked on and made all needed repairs. He told me that the tires needed to be replaced, asked if I wanted him to get prices, but I told him that I'll get the tires replaced in Maryland , at BJs or Costco,, so that I could have them serviced as needed locally. He said "that makes sense." I so appreciate that he wants the best for his customers no matter where they come from and that he doesn't need to pad anything. He treats everyone like family. That can only happen in WNY, in my opinion. LCC is worth the time. Even if it takes a longer than the in/out of a dealership, it is way worth it. I mean, I had my vehicle shipped there and I'll be flying up to Buffalo to then drive my minivan back home. Enough said. LCC and Joe are the best you can get for your vehicle."

"Been taking the family cars here for years. I've never felt taken advantage of or over charged. Joe and his team are friendly, competent and most importantly honest. I bought a used car from them for my daughter and it worked out fine. Highly recommend!"

"I'd give it 0 stars if I could. I've been a customer here for about 8 years and I've never had any problems. Until a couple months ago when I asked them to replace the light bulb in my headlight. I didn't know that they broke the seal behind the headlight and had attempted to fix it with duct tape. I was getting a lot of moisture inside of it, and after rain there was excessive amounts of water inside. I went back to this place several times asking if they could check what was happening. They kept telling me that I had a small crack on my headlight, which I never had before they changed the bulb. They told me they could replace the full headlight, but I'd have to pay for everything because they were supposedly not at fault. As of today, I have replaced the headlight at a different place and I payed a lot of money that I shouldn't have had to payed. I spoke to the owner and I told him that I wanted my money back for the headlight and he told me that there wasn't any proof that they changed the light bulb and he hung up on me. I will not be going back to this place after all of these years."

"Unethical liars sold me a used car. I was in a huge rush and ONLY purchased because Elliot told me I could have people I trusted check it out and bring it back if I was dissatisfied. After being informed it would need a large amount of money in body work I attempted to return it only to pretty much be told sorry I was a sucker for believing that. To top it off the body shop told me it was likely in a rear collision they never mentioned. I also told the owner I suffer from a disability and the stress from being taken advantage of by a liar has had far reaching negative affects on my life and health. Stay classy guys!"
