"We had an AMAZING stay. The rooms were affordable and the view is unbeatable. There were docks to fish and swim off of and an amazing bar/restaurant in the lodge. I cannot stress how friendly and welcoming the staff was. Also this is very close to town so if you should need something you can always run down. It’s also near most of the greater Inlet/Old Forge attractions and restaurants. All in all I’m glad we chose here."

"Great Pines has been our favorite location to stay at in the ADK. Between the rustic coziness and the AMAZING location and views, it has become our go to for our solo couple getaway. We've frequented multiple seasons just to be able to take in the different views and activities each season has to offer. The staff is amazing. So relaxing and quiet."

"We rang in the new year with fresh mountain air, cute and cozy cabin room setting. Property was well maintained, quiet and welcoming. Check in process was easy, grab n go breakfast items available, warm fires to sit around and great service at the onsite restaurant.. Our dog was welcome in our room and even had a fenced in area to run in. We will stay again!"

"We wanted to go over night before New Years, just to get away with the kids. Our older son has a disability and can be a little loud at times so we tend to look for something with a little more privacy. The website looked really nice and the one bedroom cabin was available so we booked it. The setting on the shores of Fourth Lake was beautiful. The location was convenient, mid-way between Old Forge and Inlet. The Lodge was really nice too, this is were the grab and go breakfast is located. Pour yourself a cup of coffee and sit in front of the stone fireplace right on the shoreline. It was relaxing on a chilly New Years Eve morning. The one-bedroom cabin was average at best, which was kind of disappointing given the other areas of the resort and the price of the accommodations. I think it is due for a remodel. The floors were inexpensive laminate and were pretty beat up. There was a cheap looking electric "wood stove" in the living room area to take the chill out. It worked pretty well but it was cheesy looking and the floors were still very cold (probably not insulated). Furniture was nice and comfortable; everything was clean and well kept. The bathroom was clean but was outfitted with economy in mind. The vanity and one-piece fiberglass shower stall were right from Home Depot. It was more like a handyman's cabin rather than a cabin that you would find at a "luxury" resort. If we were to stay again we would likely try different accommodations on the resort in hopes that they were more in line with the "luxury" description on the website."

"We booked our trip here online. The room was not quite what we expected when we arrived. It's pretty old and has knotty pine paneling. They are like rustic small cabin rooms, but the room actually turned out to be great. The beds were very comfortable and we really enjoyed it once we got settled in. It was nice and quiet and there was a great view of the lake from some of the rooms. The host was very easy to work with and we would gladly stay here again."
