"The food, service and atmosphere here was amazing! The spicy tuna crispy Rice was amazing! Highly recommend trying acouple of the apps, all unique and delicious! The sushi boat was great for our table of 4, and everything was fresh and delicious! We also finished our meal with a green tea cake and it was the perfect end to a great meal! Will definitely be coming back!"

"My initial experience at Rozu was enjoyable, as the sushi was tasty and made with fresh ingredients. The tuna had a vibrant deep red color, and it was evident that it had not been treated with gas. The otoro was also quite delicious, and I appreciated the decent selection of sake available. Unfortunately, my most recent Togo order was a complete disappointment. I received spoiled fish that was discolored and had turned an unappetizing brown (please refer to the attached picture). This not only ruins the dining experience but also poses a serious health threat. It is disheartening to witness a restaurant allowing spoiled fish to leave their premises. As a result, I cannot, in good faith, recommend this establishment to others."

"Rozu brings authentic Japanese cuisine and omakase with a twist right on the Island in Rockville Center. Blossom trees, chandeliers, exposed brick, and even a speakeasy called Cache can be found here. Chef Lee Hernandez is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and interactive during the whole experience. We expected this Japanese restaurant to be very plain and regular but we were totally wrong. Chef Hernandez served us two appetizers first which consisted of roasted edamame and soft shell crab salad. We hate edamame but Rozu’s edamame is roasted so perfectly bursting with the right flavors that we wanted more. Twelve pieces of nigiri followed which was served from light to heavy flavor fishes. This is imperative as heavier tasting fishes should be served last to ensure your taste buds get the proper flavors of each and every piece. Chef Hernandez’s skillful work is pure art with exact knowledge of how to integrate yuzu into his artwork. He truly blessed Long Island with authentic Japanese cuisine with his experience and dedication from many different restaurants including Zuma."

"We did the Omakase service and it was excellent. Sushi dishes were all unique and delicious. Interior decor was stunning and cocktails also very good. Highly recommend, and we will definitely be back."

"The place itself is very cute. The decor very nice. The food was ok. The rolls were not filled like other places I have been to. The two front garage doors were open I suppose for fresh air however it was 90 degrees outside didn’t make for a pleasant eating experience there was no breeze of any kind and warm inside. Then they closed the doors and said the AC was on max. I don’t believe that to be true because we were all really hot. We would have and wanted to order more drinks and food but it was unbearable. They were also having a staff meeting while we were there so that was kind of inconsiderate since we were being rushed. Prob will not return for food. Perhaps a drink at the bar."
