"Went here on an impromptu brunch date Sunday afternoon with my boyfriend and we were blown away! Food, service, and atmosphere were outstanding. We had the BLAT and Jerk shrimp and grits. Highly recommend and we will be going back to try their dinner menu soon!"
"I’ve been here for brunch and dinner and both times the food was phenomenal. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful with suggestions, especially if you’re a little indecisive (because everything on the menu sounds and is amazing). "This was my first time dining in at Bayview, but I’ve had their food once or twice before. Our server was thorough in explaining the menu and the daily specials. He checked on us several times and made us feel like valued customers. Several other employees stopped by the table at various times to make sure that we were enjoying our meal. I ordered the Marcus Garvey tea/lemonade (basically an Arnold Palmer) with just the right amount of sweetness. Mine may have been sweeter than the normal version since I inquired about the sweetness level. For my entree I ordered the 212 Sandwich which has eggs and a protein, plus a generous serving of delicious, perfectly seasoned home fries. My dining companions ordered the B.L.A.T. and skirt steak, both were said to be delicious. Caribbean music was playing in the background once the crowd started rolling in. Thankfully it wasn’t too loud and we were able to converse at normal volume. I’ve heard that they often have a DJ present for brunch. BK isn’t a large establishment, so if you’ve got a group of four or more you may want to get there before noon to score a table. The bill came to around $20-25 per person, which is reasonable for a higher quality brunch. The beverages are priced on the higher side ($5 for a soda, $6 for OJ). I would definitely return."
