"Food was decent bar food but service, how shall I put this......SUCKED. Waitress brought food then disappeared. We would have had more drinks and waited and waited for over half hour but finally I went into restaurant to find her for check as kids were restless. This was a Thursday afternoon around 230........no excuse. Not busy. Ridiculous."
"Waited for 40 minutes for a table. No problem. Order food after 1 hour waiter told us food would be another 45 minutes. Ask for manager. She was rude and not really helpful by far the worse manager did finally got 14 dollars back for 2 drinks. Was told that we were getting free band. Never again."
"Awesome place; friendly atmosphere...it’s a hidden gem and a place that is from a genuine by gone era when pubs were down to earth and not snooty. If you’re looking for some fine grub, good conversation, friendly staff, and beer- like the real stuff, not some IPA micro brew- sorry if that’s your thing, it’s all good, but I just like a nice cold Miller High Life...and oh, it’s pretty cool to be on a canal surrounded by actual working marinas- so few of these locations are left as they are sold off to high end development and fancy restaurants. Don’t let this lull you into thinking the food isn’t quality- it is! They often have fantastic life music. Summer might be their prime season but I’m just as happy being there in the off season. "Love this place! Great food and drinks on the water at a reasonable price, unheard of around here. Quite a few spots for docking a boat but must get there early, they do fill up. Love the love bands during the summer."
