"If your into the ol’ bait and switch plan your events with any of the five “Scotto Brothers” owned venues. Weddings are stressful enough, no need to add more to your plate. I booked a wedding at chateau briand in 2020. In a show of good faith I paid half the wedding upfront 10k. The deposit was only 1k. COVID hit and I decided to cancel the wedding. I figured it would be a battle to get the thousand dollar deposit back but it turns out they want to keep the entire 10k! Now they don’t even answer the phone. I called every number posted online and the furthest I get is a secretary asking if I would like to leave a message. Unless you have time to find a lawyer and hope a judge obligates them to do the right thing keep searching for a different venue. Let this serve as a warning to any future patrons. Do NOT use these people. Spend your money with a venue that respects and appreciates your business"
