"Since the new management has taken over, I've been impressed with their execution of the menu. We really loved the food from the previous team and this new team has not disappointed while adding new favorites. Their Massaman and red curry is delactable for instance. Very authentic (as far as I know for not being Thai, lol). We do take out 99% of the time."

"We had a fabulous meal. The service was very courteous, and the room is very pleasant to dine in. The food is delicious! One gets the feeling that the food is made with attention to detail, love , and the finest and freshest ingredients. I did not arrive a big fan of Thai food, but certainly left Hug Thai as a big fan of the cuisine! Bravo! An excellent place to relax and enjoy delicious food!"

"1st time there and I won't return. Place is pretty and girl at counter was nice, but, I love Thai food and this was the worst. I ordered Pad Thai vegetable. It was very dry, bland and no flavor, I had to add water to separate noodles, barely any sauce. There were almost no vegetables, 1 tiny piece of broccoli(about the size of a nickel), 1 string bean, about 3 thin round carrot discs(smaller than a quarter) and a lot of chewy dried up tofu. It was mostly dry noodles. However after forcing to eat my expensive meal half way through, I find a dirty piece of copper wire in my food. I wish I read these reviews before I went there. I don't enjoy putting a place down but this was the worst I ever had. Stay away, there are many good Thai places around, this is not one of them."

"Love everything we ordered here. Such a cute corner with a lot of seating inside and there is big parking space in the back of the restaurant which makes the restaurant my new favorite spot in the area. Very easy to access for pick up and togo if anytime I want a quick meal, also gives a cozy and welcoming vibe if you want a little date in the weekend. The foods were 10/10, the portion was good amount. Service was 10/10, especially with new management we will definitely comeback more often to support small businesses in town."

"Wonderful experience. Their Thai food is absolutely delicious. The service is excellent and they made everything possible to accommodate our requests. The level of spice can be adjusted if you need it, but even so the flavors are exceptional. I had the Pineapple Duck Curry, impeccable, and my wife had the delicious Hug Thai Delight (picture), both paired with the traditional Thai Iced Tea. An excellent experience that I hope to enjoy again very soon. Possibly the best Thai restaurant I’ve been on Long Island."
