"We have been longtime lovers of the IDC ever since living in RVC in 2000. We haven’t lived on Long Island or even anywhere close to NY for the last 20 years, and we had heard that they closed permanently and were heartbroken. It was by a quirk that upon returning to LI for a visit that we discovered the Bellmore location has remained open. YAY!! Today is my MIL’s 90th birthday, and we cannot be there. We ordered gelato delivery and, in the delivery instructions, asked that they try to make it as festive as possible. Jordan and his team did an incredible job and even wrote a kind note to us about the milestone birthday!! I’m totally bowled over by their generosity of spirit and attention to detail. 5 stars all around to IDC - a cafe and team who clearly understand the meaning of family and celebrations!! Thank you for all of your efforts."

"Good dessert place, clean and inexpensive. Cute place, good food, excellent gelato! I love getting the waffle with the gelato. The hot chocolate with whipped cream on top is super delish! They have many flavors to pick from and there are always new ones. I would recommend this place to anyone"
