Spiga Bakery

"I was introduced to this place by a friend when they opened their Bellmore location. Yes, it's a great Bakery, everyone is friendly, their Donuts are too good to describe. And for the longest, I only would get Donuts. It's the first place I've tried bacon on a Donut, and I was upset I didn't order two of them. But one day as we were heading to the beach we ordered, the breakfast staple: Bacon, Egg, and Cheese on a roll. And with so many different types of breads, I couldn’t just get any type of roll. So, I went with an Onion roll, especially since they had just come out the oven. Once we were settled at the beach and started to eat the sandwiches, it was a wrap. I was forever hooked. I know some may feel getting a Bacon, Egg, Cheese on a roll may not be the best way to judge a place. But to me it’s the small things I enjoy. Once I tried that, I moved to their Bakery Pizza’s. I don’t have much to say about their pizza’s. I just wish I could eat them all."

"Have been a costumer for about 15 years, I've always loved Spiga, and I know a lot of people do this if you use a credit card you pay more, prices tend go up come up frequently, I can understand that as well with the inflation, but the only reason I have been costumer for such a long time is, the pastries and cakes were always fresh, and I was willing to pay for that, but a month ago I bought assorted pastries and in perticular napoleons, very disappointed not fresh very stale taste, cream definetly not fresh, this has happened before with the napoleon, extremely disappointed, then I came in to buy a costume birthday cake which I buy every November, and we buy 5 birthday cakes a year , anniversary and bunch of others just to mention a few. A new young lady took my order, very polite, apparently I couldn't order a custome cake because it didnt have the checks on the cake order list, which I explained I get this every year. I decided to go ahead and order according to the checks on the order list. Sorry to say the cake came out not looking as I expected it looked sad. It was okay and okay only because it was fresh, the young lady never went and asked someone if my cake was do-able the way I want like it was last 15 years. The bread is awesome, the rainbow pastries awesome, assorted cookies fresh and awesome. Im having a hard time not to come to Spiga,"

"This bakery makes the most delicious doughnuts you have ever had. I just brought 2 dozen to London for friends. They loved them. Jelly is my favorite, but banana Nutella was a close first."

"This is the best bakery I have ever been to. It's not just a bakery. I ate a slice of pizza that is way better than some pizza places I have been to. They have paninis, wraps, all sorts of lunch items as well as the most delicious baked goods I have seen in a while. They have tables inside and outside to enjoy a wonderful peaceful bite to eat. I should have taken a picture."
