"Very cozy warm and inviting atmosphere. Dress up or wear your jeans. Filets were amazing. Sides were great. Waitor was attentive. Valet parking on sat night. Food took awhile to come out but we were in no rush. We will be back"

"Drinks (martinis) on point, apps excellent onion soup best I’ve ever had. Oysters fresh and juicy, muscles marinara excellent. Now for the not so good. Ordered the lamb chops medium rare, they came out well done. The filet was over done and had what looked like a tendon in it (the white rubbery long strips). A steak house should know how to cook the meat to proper temperature immediate one star removal. Second star was removed because everything on the menu had a cash price and a credit price… this isn’t a gas station; that’s what it felt like to me. At first it didn’t really bother me until the waiter came out with a check that only had one price per line not the way it was listed in the menu. At least be consistent yet they brought us the higher bill no less. The difference was about $13 dollars for a party of 5. They should have just upped their prices a dollar here and there or just said cc is 3.5% more and be done with it. Very tacky for what’s supposed to be an upscale place. That cost the second star. ( the law states you need to notify there is a credit surcharge and it be posted, nothing about line items on the menu is required for compliance) Otherwise it’s a nice place but I’ve been to a lot of better steakhouses around the same price point, not terrible but not impressed."

"Waiter was good and informative. The Bang Bang Shrimp was overcooked; but still tasty. The Skirt Steak was only about 6oz via the price-fix menu - All the items on that list are smaller portions, so know before you order. The Baby Back Ribs were very tasty - Fall off the bone and flavorful. The Garlic Mash was good; but needed a little more flavor. The pricing was moderate on some items and high on others. Wasn't a bad meal, just nothing impressive."

"Grilled pork chop with caramelized apples Potato croquettes are my favorite meal. Steak is good too and loaded mash. Good food!!"

"Marinated skirt steak is like no other. My girlfriend and I have been going here for special events for the last 5 years. Service is great but not exceptional. We miss the price fixed menu that they used to offer. We also enjoyed how they handled Covid by serving us outdoor during those trying times. We also enjoy their cocktails. I highly recommend the Jake's New Old Fashion."
