"This is, by far, is the best Japanese food in the area. I know people who drive from Lynbrook for the food. I'm grateful to have them right here in Baldwin. Whether you dine in or to go, the food is fresh and absolutely delicious. They have great specials and have added new items to the menu. We don't go anywhere else. Try it for yourself. "Previous management was better. Since ownership changed hands, the quality of the sushi plummeted. It’s fishy. You could be the only table sat and it will take them 15+ min to even ask for your drink order. Also parking is near impossible and dangerous if you don’t get a spot near the restaurant you’re quite literally risking your life crossing Atlantic ave. People driving do not care, they will hit you and drive away."
"Always grateful to come to Toyo. Best udon noodles, kani salad, and special rolls - I got the “No name roll” “hawaii roll” and “special kani roll” the best trio full of flavor. Thank you Toyo for the best treatment always. They also made us delicious shrimp Soup Dumplings to try and the chef always whips up something special for us to try!"
"Definitely 5 stars,food always fresh and tasty. I took my brother for the first time and he never had sushi before he did spciy tuna roll he love it. He's planning to go back soon. He can't stop talking about the food. Excellent customer service. I would recommend anyone to try the shrimp fried rice. This is the best place to get shrimp fried rice."
