"Excellent Mexican food at a very good price. The place is not fancy, but if you want authentic Mexican food at a great price, this is the place for you. We ordered 4 tacos, the mixed grill entree, 2 sides, and a natural juice. Everything was delicious even after being reheated the next day. The service was prompt and attentive. "I visited Sivar for the first time today. It opened in Glen Cove in August 2023. Sivar stands out for its delicious AND ***authentic*** Mexican food! From its fresh-tasting and delicious tortillas, tacos, tortas (Mexican sandwiches) to flavorful enchiladas, guacamole, and beans, the menu showcases a commitment to genuine Mexican foods and flavors. Despite its small size, with only 6-7 tables, Sivar creates an intimate atmosphere with great and friendly service. Its reasonable prices make it a budget-friendly choice. "I got a Beef burrito and let me tell you it was the best burrito that i’ve ever had! The meat was so fresh and all the ingredients were so yummy together! I also got a passion fruit agua fresca and it was perfect and refreshing. I would recommend this restaurant as a mexican myself :) There’s also a deli for quick takeout if you don’t want to sit down."
