"Very honest mechanics. I went in for an alternator replacement, as I thought that was the problem-they ordered the part, but then inspected my truck and saved me a couple hundred dollars by telling me the alternator I had was fine. I’ll be going back in the future."

"Had a sensor replaced and then the same code pops up a couple weeks later. They want to charge again for running the code and do not stand by their work. No thanks, I'll find someone who stands by their work and fixes things right the first time."

"This shop was a life saver!! I brought my son to school in New Paltz which is over 3 hours from my home, when I was walking out to my car I heard a big bang, one of my struts snapped. I drove it to hopefully to find a shop that could help me. When I pulled in and explained to a very sweet technician what happened he immediately checked if he had the parts and he did....he had me back on the road in 2 hours with both struts replaced. I cannot express how thankful I am for the service I was given. If I lived in New Paltz this shop would absolutely be my go to. Thank you!!"

"These guys are a complete riptoff Botched installing the water pump on my Daughter's car not once but twice. Upon returning a third time She was told the problem was her fault. Their incompetence and negligence has cost us money towing time and stress. Considering taking them to court. DO NOT use these clowns. Wouldn't trust them to do an oil change properly."

"Listen, the guys who work here are very nice and personable. I saw the reviews online and had very high hopes for getting my car fixed here. I had a bit of an emergency repair situation with my car, where I needed new tires, brakes, rotors, oil change, and an alignment. They were quick to get my car in and out, and were very kind in the process. However, as soon as I left the shop, my steering wheel was crooked. I had to hold my steering wheel to the left in order to drive straight, so I was concerned the alignment was off. Everything else felt great, actually, and the tires they put on were beautiful. I took my car back and they “fixed” the alignment at no cost, but then I was still having the same issue. When I was driving straight, my car would pull to the right - an alignment issue. I took my car back again, at no cost, and they said that they couldn’t find anything wrong with the car and that it was safe to drive. Still, the issue was pretty bad that my car wasn’t even drivable. I ended up taking my car to a different shop and they showed me that my alignment was extremely off, which is why I was having the issues I was having. The other shop fixed it at no cost because they knew I already paid for this service at New Paltz Auto Works, even though it wasn’t done correctly. I don’t know if there was an issue with their machine or what, but I thought it was important to leave this review. Their services were expensive, and everything else besides the alignment was perfect, but I left the shop with a messed up alignment three separate times. They were nice through the whole process, just maybe wouldn’t get an alignment there again."
