Golden Corral Buffet & Grill 450 Jefferson Road, Rochester, NY 14623

"The only thing great about this place was the waitress and kind man who collected payment at the door. The Salad was good but honestly it was just lettuce, egg and ranch. They didn’t have any other normal toppings like cucumber and tomatoes. The rest of the food look horrible, chicken was dry, Mexican rice was way over seasoned. All the food just looked bad, it was hard to put anything on my plate. They don’t even have bottled water (I don’t understand this) I can see why people eat here, for two of us the meal was $38. That’s pretty good in today’s world. But I would have rather spent $100 per person and have a stomach that wasn’t in pain for an hour (I think I ate something spoiled or not the right temp.) OR make food at home (unfortunately you can’t do that these days either for that same price.) The place wasn’t clean, it just looks like it needs a revamp, chef Ramsey, and a deep clean. The waitress was a gem and so we at least left her a tip. It’s the first and last time I’ll ever step in."

"I've been to this Golden Corral location throughout the years and the food quality has been on and off overtime, this time I went it was actually pretty good! Everything had great flavor and was appetizing! When I go I usually get the barbecue chicken, meatloaf an pulled pork and it's always good! The buttery rolls also you can never go wrong with! The desserts are good as well! The ice-cream machine is always filled and the cotton candy is honestly the best part! As far as I would rate my visit it would be a 9.5/10! Very well! Will definitely be returning sometime soon!"

"Food was half cold , or missing ice cream looked like watered-down cum , windows are filthy to the point u can't see threw them, blinds next to the booth look they hold dust from 1832 , completely a nasty restaurant. Should have drive to erie pa ."

"We drove an hour to get to Golden Corral and it was GHETTO. So ghetto. I’m sitting here writing the review because I am so mad. Wish I would’ve saw the other reviews before wasting my time, gas and money. They did not have any real food. Everything was imitation. Many things were out. Stated there was Cotton Candy but no one was there to made it ??? There was no ice cream at all. When I arrived it was only chocolate by the time I wanted to try dessert (15 minutes) no ice cream at all. Not to mention this place is so damn dirty . Look at the cobwebs… and what they call pizza."

"Was wanting a plate of veggies, some "down-home" feel good food. Some of the reviews had us cautious, but since it was what I wanted, we risked it. So glad we did! Was decent, but maybe a bit pricey (but then I'm used to KY prices, not NY) We're stuffed!"
