"Normally i have a great time there, 1st time going there just to meet our son and his wife for lunch. I ordered a hamburger and fries. The hamburger was as dry as a popcorn fart. The fries were just like Micky-Ds, too small and too hard. Dave was the cook."

"Very hospitable restaurant with good food a fair prices. Full bar with several beers on tap (none sampled during this review) and wines on selection. Furnishings cozy, including the titular fireside. Bathroom clean and waitstaff very friendly (many thanks to waitress Tirsha!). Parking unpaved directly outside, with space enough for thirty cars easy. In November 2021 the Cattaraugus County Libertarian Party hosted Larry Sharpe at this location."
