"minor mix up with our server. But i understand that.. First time here and the burger i had was AMAZING. Cooked perfectly to my liking and the fries were good as well. The nachos were awesome as well! I forgot whom our server was.. But i did leave a great tip in cash and she was ever so greatful for it! can't wait to come back!"

"This bustling gastropub in Amherst has some innovative food which seems to all be made in house. Would highly recommend upgrading your side dish to the tater tots - the best I've ever had. Go when you're HUNGRY as portions are massive! The PB &J Burger is outstanding. Sounds weird, but flavour is perfectly balanced. Hubby had the bison burger (pictured here - yes it was the size of his head!). He said it was a top 3 lifetime burger. Service was top notch, attentive, gave great recommendations and accommodated our requests. The only drawback is the noise level. I couldn't follow a conversation with my table becuase the music/ambient sound is so loud. Every table is trying to talk over the music which leads to a cacophony of white noise. While I wouldn't let it stop me from going back, it is distracting."

"Love the food here. This is one of our favorite restaurants in Buffalo, consistently great food at both this location and East Aurora. Service is always great, food always comes out quickly. The three best appetizers that we always get are the grilled cheese bites, the corn fritters , which are so soft and come with a maple butter that is so silky and delicious, and the bahn mi nachos...which are incredible. The nachos are not like normal nachos, they're similar texture to those fried Chinese noodles. So delicious! The meat is so tender and the toppings are so flavorful, the carrot shreds are sweet and crunchy, it's just a fantastic combination of flavors. They have great burgers here too. the asiago filled gnocchi was great, the texture was so soft, melt in your mouth. Definitely getting that again! Beer battered fish fry was good, light and airy although the fish was a little too slimy for me. We've been eating at Griffon for several years and had several different dishes and never had anything bad. Wasn't crazy about the pumpkin bisque but that's probably just a taste preference."

"Let me just say that great service will forgive any misgivings along the journey! Tonight we decided to have a local meal and Griffon is just around the corner. The welcome as you enter is lovely and the bar service is friendly, warm and all of those inviting vibes you want from bar service. The beer on tap is very impressive too! Once we were seated, let me tell you that Gabby set the mood right. As attentive as you’d like and nothing was too much for her to handle. She was able to resolve any issues we had with complete ease, and never once got defensive about changes or issues we had with our meal. Managers pls give this lovely lady a raise, because wow she goes above and beyond! Thank you Gabby!"
