"The Brazen Cafe opened 3 months ago on Irving Avenue across from the Crouse Hospital entrance. This was the first chance I've had to try them out. The sandwich I ordered was true to the name of the cafe. It was bold and flavorful. I had the Barzini, which I believe was the name of a crime family in The Godfather movie. You can read the details of the ingredients online, but I would note that a generous portion of fresh basil provided a wonderful bright note that complimented the tasty cold cuts, cheese, and roasted peppers. I requested extra calabrian chili mayo, and I'm glad I did. It was delicious and added some heat and creaminess to the sandwich. My friend ordered the Brazen Braised Beef (try to say that quickly 10 times) and reported that it was excellent. Looking forward to returning soon."

"Really enjoy the food options and convenience of Brazen... steps from my Dr's office. They are quick and convenient when I'm running to appointments and haven't had time to stop for lunch. I also appreciate not having to walk over to Marshall street which was previously my only option for food. The daily specials look enticing (they had fish tacos that looked delicious when I went) but their regular menu was too tempting to not try. Nice size portions--- I definitely could get two lunches out of the Brazen Beef Bowl (sticky rice, edamame, cilantro, creamy asian fusion sauce, pickled veggies, and delicious better-than-mom's slow cooked flavorful beef.) Food was fresh and hearty without being overfilling or heavy. Grab and go desert options in the cooler looked tasty---brownies and bars---plus plenty of other lunch options I'm ready to try (sandwiches, bowls, and more!). If I'm ever in the area for breakfast I'll definitely give their breakfast sandwich a try!"
