"The food here is really good. Ended up meeting family here after a family service. They dealt with an influx of about 30 people all at once very well. Servers were friendly and accommadating. We had a sampling of appetizes and they were all good. Great beer selection and a couple of ciders to pick from. We ended up going back the following day, just the two of us, and they had a great guitar player as well. Would definitely come back next time we are in town."

"The Hops Spot in Watertown did an excellent job with my co-worker's birthday party last night. The food was delicious, service was fantastic and the space was perfect. We had chick pea lettuce wraps, the fried green tomato platter, burger and chicken sliders, pierogies, chicken satay and coconut shrimp. Everything was so tasty and came out shortly after the guests arrived. Megan was lovely and so accommodating. The party was in a private room upstairs and we had our own cash bar. We will definitely use The Hops Spot for future events!"

"Came here for the first time this evening with my partner. The atmosphere was decent, but lacked decor and was a bit loud. It took about 5-6 minutes for our server to come to our table. I ordered a simple Pepsi with grenadine (cherry Pepsi) and my partner ordered a 16 oz craft beer. I received a plain Pepsi, which was fine, and he said his beer was decent. Then the food came. I ordered the skillet Mac and cheese with fries and my partner ordered the Lone Star burger. To say the food was bland would be an understatement. It was cooked well and the texture was nice, but there was absolutely zero flavor. The Mac and cheese tasted like wet noodles coated in milk. Not at all what I would expect for nearly $17. My partner said his burger was cooked well, but also severely lacking in flavor. When I brought up to the server that the food was incredibly bland (even after adding a generous helping of salt), I was met with a “well, that sucks for you” attitude. I asked for more ketchup to at least eat the fries, which were decent, but never received that, just the check and a lackluster “sorry your meal wasn’t great. I hope you will try us again”. I didn’t even finish half of the food because it was so bland and tasteless. Needless to say I won’t be returning."

"Two of us stopped here for a late lunch, eager to check out this fairly new dining spot. My friend ordered the "BMP": a burger with crispy bacon, sauteed mushrooms, roasted garlic, melted Provolone and thyme aioli. This came with a generous side of perfectly cooked house fries. I ordered the Green Machine, off the sandwich menu. Not sue why it's not included in the burger section. This dish consists of a Beyond Beef patty, topped with a fried green tomato, snuggled into a soft brioche bun, with a smear of Duke's mayo and creamy pesto. (I chose to have a side of cole slaw... huge portion!) Yum! We also enjoyed beverages from their extensive beer menu. It was an enjoyable experience!"

"We had a great time today(labor-day). The waitress was wonderful. We sat outdoors, it was beautiful. This place checked all out boxes today."
