"I hadn't been to the Crystal for a bit, but we decided to take the the grandkids out. My husband's roast pork was a huge disappointment. It was very thin cut and not a good portion and floating in gravy. My grilled ham and cheese w/ tomato sandwich was lacking in cheese and ham, more greasy bread and tomato than anything. The stuffed potato skins were not at all stuffed, very disappointing as well as over priced for the quality. We ended up getting two orders because the first one had chives that we did not want. The kids food was the only decent part of the meal. $80 + tip later we were not at all happy. The waitress was not attentive at all. We had to flag her down just to get the kids drink refills and one never got his."

"We were visiting from out of state for the holidays and decided to stop by this place for lunch. The wait time was a but long and the food was decent. The atmosphere was really great though. We tried the famous tom and jerry cocktail. I personally dont like rum so I didnt like it but if you enjoy rum or cinnamon flavor, I’d recommend getting the drink. We also ordered, leg of lamb, chicken tenders, buffalo chicken tenders and buffalo chicken sandwich."
"An iconic restaurant in the city's downtown area ! The historic ambiance of the Crystal is unbelievable! Must experience. We were there on Black Friday, and they were very busy! It took a while to get our orders, however, just relax, order a Tom & Jerry! Take in the spectacular furnishings and enjoy."
"I can't praise this place enough. Their burgers are fantastic with high-quality beef and excellent onion rings. The Reuben is absolutely first rate. I've never eaten or drank anything here that I didn't enjoy. . .and I started coming here in 1978. This includes the world famous Tom & Jerry's served from the beautiful solid mahogany bar. Truly a New York State legend!"
