"I love Spencer’s and all of the merchandise but the workers at this specific location are always so rude and all of them act super annoyed and snobby if you need help or have a question. I also work in retail so I understand that nobody enjoys it but I mean come on. They make it miserable to go in there and try to shop. Especially when the manager is actively complaining to other workers out loud about having to help customers. Not a nice environment and could definitely use some people who actually enjoy the job and aren’t in a bad mood the whole time."
"Me and my friend went in to look around and my my friend accidentally knocked over a stich pillow. Before he even got the chance to pick it up the employee behind the counter ordered us to pick it up in a very condescending tone. One other pillow had fallen off the shelf which I had already picked up at that point. Because he didn’t pick it up instantly she then said “use your hands and pick it up” like that isn’t common sense. He put it back on the shelf using his leg but apparently that was “hella disrespectful” so she kicked us out following us the whole way out the door. Her attitude was terrible and she was very rude. regardless of the situation that kind of behavior wouldn’t fly many other places."
"When I went to Spencers at west town mall today I was blatantly harassed. As soon as I entered the store I was followed. Not subtle in any way. He continued to stay incredibly close to me the whole time I was shopping to the point I was extremely uncomfortable. At one point I had to say something because the level of uncomfortable I was feeling was ridiculous for me to be just shopping trying to spend my money. I felt it was insulting."
"Went in this week and the staff were very friendly, greeted us and checked in a few times while browsing. The store is absolutely jam-packed with stuff getting ready for holiday sales I assume. Probably one of the only stores in West Town worth checking out each visit!"
